Silence On the Mountain
For the silence challenge

Soft scents of pinesap warmed in the sunlight
Infuse with the sharp granite of the mountain
Light filters through pine tops, and
Eases down to the needle covered earth-
Narrow tracks fill with water near the stream, which
Curves its way down through the valley,
Endlessly seeking the sea
