Silence Has A Color

Dreary vista made bright

The scent of hot cocoa

Sweatshirt and fuzzy socks

Supplies warmth with in and out

Settled in for the night

So gentle and fluttering

A winter butterfly

Or like a fresh coat of paint

Dreary vista made bright

The flood of flakes fall

Like the sea foam on waves but

Silently pounding the landscape

With all its might

A swarm of snow

Buzzing from the heavens

Surrender to the elements as

Air, water, and earth fight

Sequestered for the evening

The outside becomes still

Silence has a color

The color is white
