Silence Can Be Loud

Sometimes too loud

By Ali SPPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Silent are the thoughts that cloud our minds

It poses as a disguise, hiding our pain

Like the heaviness we feel when a loved one is gone

Ears yearning to hear their voice again

Nothing. Nothing prepares us, for it

Consumes everything it touches

Eventually, we beg it to leave
