Shoplifters on the Telly
Oh my god what a horrible thing to see

Shoplifters on the Telly
Shoplifters on the telly, I shouted out to hubby.
My god, quick! I shouted. her up roads on telly
CCTV, clear as day, A thief caught In the strangest way.
We couldn’t believe it, hubby had to rewind
What she took? Oh, one of a kind.
A knitted Willy warmer— No lie!
We laughed so hard, We thought we’d cry.
Next time she passed, I looked away,
Hubby just grinned, He had this to say:
Don’t condemn With a laugh so bold,
Maybe her hubby Was just too cold!”
Whatever I said, She should be ashamed,
Caught out on camera for all to see.
Then put out on TV, She was named and shamed

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
