SHINING FIGURE

She caught my sight in the dim light

as she walked in through the door

she sparkled in the lights and haze

across the crowded floor.

The shape of her

I tell no lie

a natural beauty

no need to try.

Her walk is smooth

she dresses in style

her voice would make you

wait a while.

With big blue eyes

and natural blonde hair

beaming with confidence

and moving with flare.

She danced to the beat

as she shuffled her feet

moved to the music

and generated heat.

The light shined in

on all the right places

it showed all her figure

in cotton and laces.

A sight for my memory

and so easy to trigger

through the thick smoke

was that shining figure.
