She writes my heart love

Extracting hate from my lungs

A refreshing breath that excites dial tone removal from my tongue

Healing like drops of water on dehydrated lips

Patiently navigating my veins

Growing seeds planted by her with kisses as water

hugs as sunlight and

constructive criticism as soil

She writes my heart love with her every breath

Her smile eases a thousand days of anxiety

Her laugh as contagious as sounds from a comedy show

I’ve become a field of flowers rooted and nurtured by her love

She writes my soul love

Deep convos in the dark

We raise our hands and interlock our fingers

Our legs intertwined

Heaven comes from your whispers

You asked what my perfect afternoon looks like

And all I could think of is what I told you

All I want is to be near you

You spark my quiet thoughts

You write love all around me

She writes my heart love

Translated by my skin

My nervous system on fire

When you touch me

You write my soul love

No complex ideas, only you

All I seem to want is you

You write my heart love

A glance from your windows erase the pain endured as the winds blow

You flourish and create

You love and run from the fake

Admirable you are

You are my only love
