She Loved. She Lost.
Another lame poem
Everyone aspires to love unconditionally,
No one knows in what shape that will come,
But it's promised that it will one day.
For her, it came out of nowhere,
In the shape of twins, two brothers.
She was at the ripe age of eighteen,
Her only true love had been food and mythical vampires,
But now it was new, it was real, and she swore it was raw.
Like a miracle, she dated one,
Yet she still wanted more.
Like a blessing or a curse,
She got the other one too.
In secret, during day or night,
She rejoiced in secret ecstasy,
Until she no longer could keep it a secret.
She did not eat for days,
Her first lover had found them,
He had yelled, she cried, the other one had been mute.
Weeks went by,
She had lost both lovers,
She had been greedy,
But the heart wants what it wants,
And she was only a slave to its orders.
It had been promised that she would find love,
And she did in the shape of twin brothers,
But no one had told her that love was fragile;
No one had told her the dangers of love,
And she felt victim to its raging fire.
She had loved and been loved,
Yet she had wanted more.
She had loved.
She lost.

Brand new adult. You'll read my thoughts through my shabby writing. It’s pretty random.
