She lost something

Every rose petal

Became a game of hiding and seek

One by one

The air blew them into untamed desires

Men whose insecurities

Clouded the fire

Idols that portrayed a momentary fix

And self

Climbed on the top list

She lost something

Shame has a starring role in her play

And doubt

is one hell of a director

Confidence sits in the audience

Impatiently Waiting for the show to end

Praying, to see a metamorphosis

While she's blinded by the narrative of her insecurities

Her demise

is evident for all to see

She lost something

and she doesn't know how to get it back

She found a way to hide in a crowd of people who are stars at pretending to be okay

Maybe that's why she's lost and can't find her way

The majority models inauthenticity

The pretense has become overwhelming for her

The sound of her waves deafening to her own ears

Oh how she craves to be found
