"She Is the Storm"

A Poem About Inner Strength and Transformation

She is a storm—

not just thunder, but the pressure before it breaks.

Not chaos without cause,

but a reckoning—raw, steady,

and rooted in truth.

She has weathered winds meant to uproot,

stood still in downpours meant to drown,

and still, she moved—

inch by inch,

even when her voice was only a whisper against the gale.

You see, she does not rage to frighten.

She rages because silence once cost her too much—

her peace, her power, her name.

They called her wild,

unpredictable, too much to contain.

But she was never meant to be caged.

She was meant to shift the sky.

There are days her storm softens—

gentle mist, hushed breath,

barely stirring the leaves.

But even then,

she brings life

to what the world left barren.

She is not a storm for destruction.

She is a storm for rebirth—

for cleansing, for clarity,

for the moments no one honors,

but she survives through anyway.
