Finding Joy in the Simple Moments

In morning’s light, the skies are clear,

With whispered winds that drift so near.

A gentle sun, a warming glow,

As flowers bloom and rivers flow.

Laughter rings through open air,

In simple joys and love we share.

No golden throne or jeweled crown,

Just peace when troubles weigh us down.

A hand to hold, a friend to call,

The strength to rise after a fall.

Moments slow, the world in view,

Each breath a chance to start anew.

The happy life is not so grand—

Not fame, nor wealth, nor vast command.

But meals with kin, and walks at dawn,

A heart content, a spirit drawn.

To kindness, love, and purpose true,

With skies of ever-changing hue.

Gratitude in every day,

And time to laugh, and time to play.
