She Became the Warrior

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

She took on the weight

Of the world’s sadness

And turned it into majestic wings of love

She took on the pain

Of the world's despair

And she became the warrior

She became the angel for all

She made her brokenness look beautiful

as she soared away from the trembling darkness

pulsing like a heartbeat around her

She flew to her one true love

Waiting for her to come home

And she became the warrior

She became the angel for all

She made her brokenness look beautiful

She mastered compassion

She mastered faith and humility

She surrendered to God's will and now it's time

For her to come home

For her to come home

Ohhh...

And she became the warrior

She became the angel for all

She made her brokenness look beautiful

Thank you. This is a lyric to a song I wrote. All my songs are available on YouTube, Amazon and Spotify (linked below). It would mean the world to me if you would consider subscribing here as well as on my other platforms. And tips here on Vocal are always welcome!

I've been writing songs since I was 14, and I'm not going to share how long ago that was! I trained in songwriting and composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA as well as DAW. Unfortunately, life happened and although I kept writing I was not able to push my music the way I can now thanks to technology.

I am a global nomad, and I move from place to place about every three months. I am currently in Peru.
