She will smile out of politeness when you tell her that she's beautiful. She'll entertain your conversation for the sake of being someone you can talk to, She can make you feel like you're on top of the world, she's open minded and enjoys friendly banter. She'll give you her opinion if you ask, without the expectations of you heeding her words. She can make you trust her enough to pour your soul into her hands; and it's OK because it'll be in good hands... but because you are so wrapped up in her light you will fail to realize that she does not reciprocate. She will give you all that she can in conversation, and surprisingly she will not show any outward expressions.
It will come as a shock to know that there are only two people in her life who know her deeply. Everyone else? Only her surface. She knows that it bothers many people, for she lost friends because of it; more because they don't understand her and her ways. She doesn't look for people because she enjoys the peace she acquires from solitude and she stays inside her shell until she is needed, or reached out to. As for the friends that walked away? She holds no type of grudge, or feels any kind of way because their leaving does not matter to her. It doesn't matter because although she appreciates them and acknowledges those who are still there, she has never expected anyone who she's crossed paths with to stay in her life.
She understands that people are brought to her for a moment, to learn from her while at the same time teaching her things about herself that she's still yet to uncover. They teach her about life, and then they move on. She knows this as the way of the world and has always been at terms with it. This comes to you as a surprise because you thought you knew her, but even with all that I have expressed, you know almost as much as the next which changes nothing.
