Share Your Joy With Me

I don't know how you do it... Could you maybe, share just a bit of your joy with me?...

Your joy is beautiful,

because I can see your hurt, and still you smile‐

perhaps, you could share it with me?

Your voice is beautiful,

because I know of the sadness you sing through‐

and how, you refuse silence.

But how?…

Your love beautiful,

because I've counted the cracks, and seen the empty spaces left in your heart‐

and still, you care.

Tell me‐

How do you do it?

With all that you've been,

and still go through‐

How is your smile still right‐side‐up?

Even when the sun goes down,

and rain and night fall,

through pain and all

when life comes down‐

your eyes,

they still light right up‐

and your smile,

it's beautiful...

Could you maybe, share some of your joy with me?

About the Creator

Josh Morgan

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.
