Shades of My Soul's Liberation

Tiers of Joy

By Cate FalconPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

My rebirth started with the color red, the pit of fire

It flooded through me in turbulent waves of anger

Spitting and crackling venom at passersby

It raged and raged, until it erupted, then tempered

Into orange, a subtler passion

Curated into a focused vision,

My moves began to carry intention

Channeling the fire for a purpose

With the birth of purpose, next came yellow:

Personal power and confidence

A newfound joy that I had not known for years

This was pleasure, not the pain and entanglement that had sat atop me for years,

Making it hard to breathe

This was independence of my soul, taking flight

It mingled into green, my heart space

Peace washed over me like a sea of spring mountains, lining my heart

This energy could transcend

In blue, I found my voice again, speaking my purpose to others, spreading my passion and joy

Truth poured out of me like water from an overflowing cup

In my third eye, I saw visions of indigo

The knowledge of the Universe expanded before me, in a galaxy glazing the night sky

I was one step closer to total unification of my Divine self

The seventh step into violet, comprehension of my Higher Self

I saw it all below me, behind me, in front of me, and above me

More so, I felt it within me

These are the shades of my soul’s liberation
