The Girl Who Walked Through Storms
She said she would never give up

The Girl Who Walked Through Storms
Rain bowed around her,
Falling aside,
Clearing the pathway,
Where she would glide.
Clouds bent in warning,
Darkened and deep,
Yet she kept walking,
Never to sleep.
Thunder grew louder,
Calling her near,
Shaking the branches,
Cradling fear.
Her eyes held lightning,
Cold in their gleam,
Caught in the pull of,
Some distant dream.
The road turned twisted,
Wet with the night,
Still she moved onward,
Seeking a light.
Wind tore the edges,
Of her thin frame,
Pulling her secrets,
Calling her name.
She passed through shadows,
Draped in the rain,
Leaving all thunder,
Holding her pain.
Long after she vanished,
Storms still recall,
How she walked through them,
Never to fall.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️

This poem beautifully personifies endurance through the imagery of storms. The recurring motif of movement and resistance creates a powerful symbol of inner strength and transformation.
Quite the journey!!! 😕😕
