Self Portrait in a Dream
Poe-limer-aiku

I went for a walk in the park
For self reflection; inspirational spark
When poetry began to embark:
There one was a writer named Amos
Whose writings were never too famous
He stopped to Haiku
Midsummer breezes
Whispering warmth on my neck
Lost in the sunshine
Some thoughts he would chew
But his haikus, they always seem heinous
While on the walk in the park
I found poetry'd broken apart
And my mind, it wandered 'til dark

Very, very clever, Amos!
Loved it once again. Beautiful haiku, and funny limericks, haha. Whenever I have a writing-spark in my head when wandering, I always end up forgetting it if I don't write it down. I hope you're able to note yours down; we need more of your writing in this world of ours.
This is super clever and sneakily deep! Poor Amos, though trying his best and still catching strays :)
