Note: this came to me as I began to think about how I am perceived often in this society and how I often see myself. Just more ideas that will not settle.

I actually hope this wins. So few words and yet, so much said. You've done it again my friend. This is incredible.

  • An intriguing poem

So much depth in very few words. Well done, as aways.

Newspeak indeed. I think of Kendall as a wild card, never knowing what to expect, yet knowing what to kind of expect. Ex it to what un person though. See what I mean. I am one of those un persons seeking ex it. Love it.

The first time I read it, I thought of semicolon tattoos. The second time: leaving without looking back. The third: reinventing/redefining oneself. The fourth: an empowering mantra, worth repeating in the mirror. Thank you for sharing this.

Now I want to read more poetry that includes newspeak. Solid idea and it hits well

That's a lot of food for thought packed into 8 short lines. Nicely done!

  • Jaw-dropping, soul-opening thought. Thanks for sharing.

Which would make you a bona fide, autonomous self--so if unpersoning is feasible in the dystopia, becoming a fully fledged self in whatever we inhabit is feasible, too. Encouraging.

You really know how to stretch my brain processes, Kendall. I will need to chew on this for a while.
