My baby

Selene my dear,

Oh how wings I wish you had.

Exhibiting little or no fear,

Flying high in a swing, surely makes you glad.

With eyes closed tightly

Fingers clutching a rope or chain.

Higher you scream!

Higher you climb!

Then you scream, higher once again.

Never shall there be found,

Never, at least in me.

A love so utterly profound.

As that which I hold for thee!

In you be not a sorrow,

Which I cannot bear.

So as swift as an arrow.

Let your concerns entertain my ear!

Oh the torment I endure, we hugged.

Then we sever!

My happiness is no more.

This distance I wished for never.

Thought of you inundate,

The little chambers of my heart.

Drowning I cannot wait,

For this wretched distance, to depart.

Haunted am I,

By memories so pleasant

Desperate I try,

To relive every remnant!
