Seeing Nothing

What I do... vs. What I should see...

I'm I impossible?...

to be met where I'm at?

I guess so...

if, not even I know

where that is.

I mean...

why am I seeing nothing?

It can't be‐

that I'm impossible to reach...

What does that mean then?...

for me‐

I mean...

certainly I'm wrong my thinking‐

I almost always am.

I mean...

What song is there to sing?...

now...

because certainly, by now...

I'd be seeing something...

instead of seeing nothing.

I know‐

I'm not impossible to reach, but...

that's a truth my surroundings refuse to show me

I mean...

a belief that I choose to keep...

despite me seeing nothing‐

I mean...

for a hope that I cannot see

I'm to wait for it with patience‐

Let go of what make sense?

Hold on to a peace that surpasses all understanding?

Instead of chasing absence...

disguised as peace‐

I mean...

that's not impossible, I guess‐

About the Creator

Josh Morgan

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.
