SEEING IS DECEIVING
FAITHE HALTTE

Colors living inside, though we can’t see
They turn our world upside down
The depth of our perception goes further than we believe
Both with grace
Lay on our face
They see the future
They leave our past behind
They are sensible
Alike the sun
They set and rise
Their light speaks loudly through different dimensions
Though never comprehensible
Through them we experience our fate
Through them, we watch sparks fly
Laughing and crying
As beams disperse into the sky
Never letting fear win,
Always holding us in
Windows to our souls,
Holding an image of the universe
They let anyone who wants in
They remind us seeing is deceiving.
