Where does tomorrow grow
My mind is a pool its big but its not able to expand on its own
If the moon invited me to her potluck would she prefer salad or pizza rolls
A representation of some things that are beyond are power to know
The human trait to fear and hate what we can’t control
It’s still important to rest and ponder
Gently loosen the corner bolts beside your strained eyes
Squinting obscures you from two thirds of the world beyond yours
Question what’s irrelevant to your life
Question the relevance of some strange reasons why
some people choose to be as elephants
Just to have a circus in their eyes
A seed flies, then soars, then drops
In to the ocean
Correction, its a pool where I keep my thoughts
Boom an explosion
Break a couple locks
But where were all the keys
The mysterious movements of the sea
The underestimation of how deep the kid pool can be
If tomorrow didn’t grow should we fire who ever we hired to water its seeds
Our pools are full of water to drink, yet most have been poisoned by years of outdated chlorine
Let there be a drought so what remains can be filled by fresh water springs
Let us live in doubt so are pools can be filled by rainy clouds in our brains
If Tomorrow didn’t grow wouldn’t that be strange
Continue to loosen the corner bolts
Your eyes might be complacent to the strain
Only uncomfortable bodies feel change
If Tomorrow didn’t grow wouldn’t that be strange
So many pools full of water
So many seeds remain dry and Unclaimed
About the Creator
Goldie
Addiction to my pen sweeping cobwebs in my mind
The brief feeling of structure when my thoughts start to rhyme
