In every single one of my daydreams
I am famous.
Everyone loves me and
I'm admired for the person
I am not.
-
I always imagine
I'm successful,
but I still get accused at parties of being single
and I can't drain the blood from my cheeks
fast enough to reassure you.
-
In every single one of my daydreams
you're there
and you're famous too.
We hold hands and have matching tattoos
of the ninth planet.
-
I always imagine
we're a secret
and you're wearing my sweatshirt
when you tell me you can't do this anymore.
-
In reality, my skin is bare
and you don't even know me.
