A rhyming poem for the Snacktime Sonata challenge

Goldfish crackers, oh so light,

in a baggie, they shine so bright.

Their colours gleam like tropical trees,

a yummy snack, only for me.

🐠

Little fish, swimming free,

in a marine of salty glee.

Every one special, with smiles very wide,

they radiate mirth from every side.

🐠

Their crunch is music to the ear,

a consonance of savour, oh so dear.

With each bite, a rupture of bliss,

these crackers, I just cannot resist.

🐠

Some are orange, some are red,

but all are cherished, without a shred.

They create a smile to every face,

in each home, in each spot.

🐠

Goldfish crackers, a childhood friend,

a journey with me, will never end.

From recesses to play nights,

they bring me all such simple delights.

🐠

So here’s to the tiny fishes,

in all their colourful wishes.

Goldfish crackers, I admire you so,

in each flavour, high ‘n’ low.

☺️👏 Hmm I don’t know of these.. we have Dixie drumstick in a biscuit here - which is basically the same shape as the fish so I wonder if they tasted similar.

Aargh, this poem makes me jealous! I'm sure we don't have goldfish crackers where I live. :( You make them sound so delicious.

"So here's to the tiny fishes" Ah! This is so cute! I think it'd make an adorable children's poetry. Also, I pick Gold fish over cheezits any day!
