Sea Heist Thwarted

An action-packed heist in the high seas

By Effy HuangPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

“It’s okay. We know Burak!” Laurent nervously remarked as he quickly motioned for Dagmar to throw her blade onto the wood plank.

Emre, the watch leader of the cargo vessel quickly scanned the perimeter of the dimly lit orlop while still pointing his Berretta pistol in both Dagmar and Laurent’s direction.

“Damn it. I knew I should of changed the light bulbs sooner.” Emre mused sarcastically while keeping his steely gaze on the two stowaways.

“You know of Burak? So what?” Emre snickered. “We run a tight ship with our timber. And any transgressions he may have done in the past are done, finito.”

Dagmar seemed unphased by Emre’s words nor by the gun barrel pointed directly between her eyes.

“Not so fast Emre. I may be a stowaway but we have you on tape with Burak bragging how you two were pulling off the greatest heist on this side of the river using your timber biz as a front...seems you have a predilection for slushies.”

Just as Esme was about to shoot, six other MI6 agents emerged from the shadows and pointed guns at Esme.

“It’s over Esme. Burak has already been caught. Now it’s your turn.”
