Save the Rare Animals
And there habitats!
If you care about rare animals, or animals whose habitats took a fall
You'll want to save them from poachers, deforestation and dangers all
From rhinos, elephants, penguins and lions who roar
Save them from people near and far
Humans can be cruel, horrible and mean
Thwart the animal killers to keep your conscience clean
The Amur Leopard, Sunda Tiger, Bluefin Tuna and Cross River Gorilla are on a list that says they're endangered
Please show them your support, of course non wavered
Please help them and all animals before they're gone forever
To destroy a species is wrong, don't be a pretender
For the Chimpanzees, Pandas and Monarch butterflys support your local endangered animal organization today
This way, the animals will survive and live and play
We can all do our part to help the animals survive
Please donate money so all endangered animals thrive
I recommend the World Wildlife Fund to donate, because I think they're great
But the choice is yours, so please don't wait
You'll regret it once it’s to late

If we disrupt the ecological balance by wiping out species, our turn will come next. It's an issue worth raising awareness about.
It's okay if you can't directly save animals due to limitations, but please avoid harming them.

I love animals so much and your poem was so wonderful. I'm not financially stable enough to donate to save endangered animals but I've been a vegetarian for 13 years and counting. The least I can afford to do for Earth's fauna is not eat any of them. I loved your poem!
