Bright and Sunny is the afternoon. Sun streaks the sky and crashes into each wave. Water taunts the beach coming to and fro. Glistening rays shine bright against white sand.

Eyes squint to protect themselves from the glint of beauty that is this ocean day. Beach goers build sand castles whilst toasting their skin. Water creeps upon castles edge daring to devour them. Judges go to and from, searching for the very best one.

Announcers voices fill the air, reciting competitors and those that win. Hot sun stains the skin after hours long, red marks and blotchiness. Oh how I long for the milky texture of protection against uv-rays; Darting here and there in search of something to protect porcelain white skin.

Finally as the day draws to an end, lotion caresses sunburned skin. Hot to touch, red and burnt surrounded by sand castles at the oceans edge.
