That’s what my lovely told me
That’s what she fed to me
The nectar that was so sweet
The fruit that leveled me
The heights of my own sanity
The love forbade to me
Shameful Expressions
Should I fear the same as him?
Simplify my angst and change my woes?
Should I watch his life unfold?
Like a classic movie, white and black and cold
Then plan my steps around his words.
If we are one, our art the same
Should he leave me clues to break my fall?
If in case I fall in line
If in case, they play to rhyme
Should they embrace me just the same
If they throw my art to shame
