My favorite color is rainbow,

the promise, the color, the hope.

About all the colors of rainbow,

there is something that you should know.

Red are the roses, the heart and the beat.

Red is the blood that runs in you and me.

Orange is the sunset reflecting on your face.

Orange is in vitamins, a fruit snack and taste.

Yellow is sunshine and summer and fun.

Yellow is hot days and dank sweat that runs.

Green is the grass that’s soft under bare feet.

Green is the ocean that on soft shores beat.

Blue is the sky clear over our heads.

Blue is the deep sea with sand in its bed.

Indigo night sky laughing at me.

Indigo serious, indigo deep.

Violet is warm just like a first kiss.

Passionate violet, a moment of bliss.

The rainbow is full of joy and delight.

You know what has no color?

Black and then white.

They are absent of color, nothing to see.

Yet both are the essence of humanity.

They are the life’s breath, the rhythm hearts beat.

They are the beautiful song the earth sings.

Brown is a color, of coffee and earth.

Brown is the smell of beautiful birth.

The earth is so full of colors diverse.

When will we all learn to see each other’s true worth?
