Riot Of Liberty
Inspired By A Sculpture In Castle Fine Arts Newcastle - On The State Of Things

Introduction
I saw "Riot Of Liberty", a bronze sculpture by Whathisname (Sebastian Burdon), and thought that it perfectly illustrated what should be happening in the world now.
You can find details of the sculpture here
Here is a little about the history of the Statue of Liberty
The song I wanted to use was Bob Dylan's "Chimes Of Freedom", the Byrds do a gorgeous version of it, but Bruce Springsteen plays it on his current tour and on the same night he made that incredible speech, which I have also included in this piece. Make sure you listen to it.

Outstanding & truly inspiring!๐ธ
Wonderful homage, Mike. That's an unusual sculpture. It speaks volumes
Could be a new way to read the Pledge of Allegiance in a way. Gives me an idea for Juneteenth.
With liberty & justice for all - not just those who he deigns to permit.
Great choice of songs to go along with an inspiring statue. โ the book asks whatโs his nameโ. That says a lot
Banksy would approve! ๐ค
That sculpture sounds really interesting. I like how it ties into the idea of liberty. And those song references are cool too. I wonder how the sculpture and the songs connect on a deeper level. Do you think they all share a common theme that's especially relevant today? Also, what do you think the "Book She Holds Asks 'What's His Name?'" really means?
