Ringing the Bell of Life
- Across the Watery Expanse
I stand upon the shore
my soul restless and adrift
As I ring the bell of life
its chimes carried
by the sea's swift lift
The tolerant mind of the ocean
it opens wide before me
Embracing my own heart
long shrouded in uncertainty
For in the endless expanse
of the watery domain
I find a tranquil refuge
a balm to soothe my every pain

The sea
it listens with a patience
Its rhythmic tides whispering
"Let go of your inner care"
I heed the call
my spirit now set free
As I embark upon a journey
my boat to set to sea
The wind at my back
the waves as my guide
I steer towards the horizon
my dreams to reside
No longer do I wander
lost in a world of strife
For the sea has unlocked
the gateway to my dream life
With each passing mile
my heart grows ever lighter
The burdens of the shore
they feel ever the slighter

The sea
it knows no judgment
no constraints to bind
Its boundless expanse
a mirror to my open mind
I am the captain of my vessel
the master of my fate
Sailing towards a future where
my desires await
The tolerant mind of the ocean
it soothes my troubled soul
Urging me onward, to a destiny
that is wholly my own to control
The bell of life, it rings out
a clarion call to the deep
Summoning the sea's gentle wisdom
my course to forever keep
For in this seaward voyage
I find a sense of renewal
A rebirth of the spirit
my dreams now finally coming true

Guiding me towards a future where

If You Love Me, You'll Do It
I met Jason when I was five years old. I could say that I loved him from the moment I saw him. He was so handsome to me and I felt in awe by his presence. When they introduced him as the new kid in school, I wanted to be his friend right away. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember his smile and how he didn't seem shy. He appeared confident and ready to learn. I waved at him and said "hello," before anyone else could even say a word. He sat next to me, and I asked him if he wanted to be friends. He looked so happy as he said, "Yes!"
