There once was a man so revered,

they had a parade and they cheered.

When he got on the float,

They called him the G.O.A.T.

But soon his name would be smeared.

-----------------------------------------------

The next day the cops found him dead,

with a bullet lodged in his head.

He left them a note,

and on it he wrote,

“I have done terrible things that I dread.

----------------------------------------

I kissed a few women and told,

I liked only the glitter of gold.

Let a door hit my ass,

stoned my house made of glass,

and left someone out in the cold.

-----------------------------------------

I often chose the wrong path,

but the reason I deserve so much wrath,

‘cause the worst thing I’ve done.

just for the fun,

threw the baby out with the bath.”
