Until your love rescued me
You resuscitated feelings
I thought no longer exist

Pulled me out of the water
Kissed me softly on the lips
Breathing into my lungs
Filling me with new life
Reminding me of my desires
Giving me a safe place in your serenity
You whispered in my ear
"You can be yourself with me"
It from that moment I knew
I never knew real love till you
You held me close in your arms
In your safety
As we watched the boat sink
As the sunset
From that moment I knew
I would never be alone again
As your love saved me
