Restart

Unraveling the Mind's Tangles

By SuwanaboomjaPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

In a land where the colors did mingle,

A being found itself caught in a jingle.

Tied up in knots, like a twisty pretzel,

Their thoughts spiraled, a mental carousel.

The skies were striped in shades of green,

And purple rivers flowed serene.

But this creature felt lost and askew,

As if their world was painted askance with blue.

In a forest of candy cane trees,

They stumbled upon the answer, quite by ease.

A creature, wise and oh so tall,

Offered a hand to break their fall.

"Dear friend," it said, in a voice warm and mild,

"You must restart, be free, run wild!

For life's too short to be stuck in a bind,

Let go of your worries and clear your mind."

And so they ventured, arm in arm,

Embracing the strange and seeking no harm.

Through valleys of cotton and mountains of lace,

They found their balance in this surreal place.

As the sun set, casting hues on the shore,

They knew they had learned, and even more.

To restart is to let go, to grow, and to trust,

In the face of the surreal, stand tall we must.

For in a world where nothing seems real,

Our hearts and minds will always reveal,

The truth of our journey, our path to embrace,

To restart, to heal, and find our place.
