Reflecting you, I am your twin,
Transparent, delicate, and thin,
My glass skin is all you see,
A perfect mirror, but not truly me.
You stare and gaze, my curves and bends,
And wonder what my life portends,
But beneath my glassy facade,
Is a person, unique and flawed.
I may be brittle, I may be cold,
But I'm not the person you behold,
I'm more than just a reflection,
With thoughts, emotions, and imperfections.
My glass skin is a veil so thin,
It's easy to lose sight of what's within,
But if you take the time to look deeper,
You'll find a soul that's richer and sweeter.
So please don't judge me by my skin,
Or the perfect reflection I'm in,
For beyond my glassy exterior,
Lies a person, real and superior.
