Remembering the Kind Woman
Who helped me from a tough situation

Kindness, oh my goodness, kindness,
the most beautiful of all human virtues!
I can’t help remembering the woman
who acted as a Good Samaritan that day.
I was new to driving,
I thought I could handle the big SUV,
but I got stuck in a narrow parking lot.
I had no idea how to get out.
People were gentle — they moved back.
No one cursed me.
But it was getting dark,
and I had no clue how to escape.
Then, a middle-aged woman arrived,
she asked if I was new to driving.
I showed my vulnerability.
“Yes,” I said. “I’m trying, but struggling…
This tight space and these big cars all around
— it’s overwhelming.”
She didn’t throw anger or impatience at me.
She seemed like an angel — the way she handled it.
She told me to watch how she maneuvers.
She drove to the parking space
and demonstrated the reverse turn.
I trusted her and did the same.
Before I knew, I was on the road again —
safe, flushed with peace,
grateful for escaping a sticky situation,
and melted by the compassion
of a fellow human being!
My readers, seek this beauty.
This is the true legacy, free of vanity.
