The mouth drowns in saliva, first bland then sweet bitter boiling acid-

The nose hairs sizzle from the bonfire of yesterday's meals diffusing the air-

The eyes track the bile that's running through every fissure in the concrete-

The ears drumming to the symphony of constricting organs-

The hands strangle the gate, embedding black paint chips into sweaty palms-

    What a stunningly vivid description of a vile experience. Noticing the extraordinary in the commonplace is a gift of poetry, but you elevate (or spew) this to a new level. If I were a judge, this poem would have a ribbon.
