The Beauty of the Unfinished
Why a "Full Moon" is the Beginning of the End
Why I Don’t Wish for "Perfection": Imperfection is the Source of Vitality
During holidays and festivals, the most common blessings we hear are about things being "perfect" or "complete."
But I never use those words.
Why? Because the law of nature dictates: "The moon wanes once it is full; water overflows once the cup is at capacity." The very moment the moon reaches its fullest point is the moment it begins to fade. The moment a tank is completely full is the moment it begins to spill.
"Perfection" often signifies the beginning of decline.
This means that truly great achievements always seem to have slight "imperfections." It is precisely because of these gaps that they do not decay and can continue to grow. It is like a sealed jar: if it is completely filled, air cannot circulate, and the contents spoil. You must leave some space for vitality to flow.
Do things 80% well, and leave the remaining 20% to luck.
Speak with 70% certainty, and leave the remaining 30% for flexibility.
Accept a few regrets in life, so you still have "expectations" for the future.
That "gap" isn't a flaw. It is where the light shines in and where blessings grow. Don't force yourself to get a perfect score in everything. Leave a little room for "imperfection," and your life will have a "way out."
Remember, the best state of being is when the flower is not yet fully bloomed and the moon is not yet full.

I'm like you, I rarely use the word 'perfect' because it is just a state of mind. Accepting and loving life as it is brings more joy and happiness. Thankyou for sharing xx
