Even broken glass
still catches
the light
and lets it dance on
jagged ledges
scattering star dust
such prismatic
imperfection
beautiful
captivating
a diamond
has to be cut
to catch the light
to let it dance
on bladed edges
the light doesn't care
how it's bent
or broken
only that it is
may we allow
the light to bend
in our broken
and jagged ledges
beautifully
imperfect
refraction
of heart.

This is actually reminds me of Rock of Ages the old hymn. It also makes me think of stained glass windows.
