A pulse, a stir, a renewal of a part,

A fire, a flame, the beating of the heart,

A lamp light barely burning,

Emotions slowly churning,

Where once love had then relayed,

No longer lived, nor stayed…

The swirling of the tides, waves of thunder travel free,

The cackling of lightning, the maelstrom amidst the sea,

Tides of doom upon the waves, a ship tossed to and fro,

For in the tides of storm and tribulation, then will we surely know,

Metal is not strengthened until tested in the flame,

Love is not true, until it love and stays all the same,

An artist cannot succeed until he refines his ability to perform,

The heart cannot have what it aspires to be, until it is tested in the storm…
