A dream about to grow and take flight

Red Sails in Sunsets Bright
Red sails cut through the evening glow,
bathed in fire where the last winds blow.
Golden light on restless waves,
a fleeting path the water paves.
Distant cries of gulls take flight,
lost in dusk, in coming night.
The ocean hums a low refrain,
a whisper soft as parting pain.
No shore ahead, no way to steer,
only the dark, the deep, the near.
Red sails fade where embers die,
swallowed whole by the burning sky.

Perfect image and words. Red is usually not my favorite color, but for some reason this image I may rethink. Good job;
