How would you describe color to one who is blind?

This is how I would describe the color red.

Red is the color of their heartbeat when you lay your head on their chest.

Red is the feeling when you would burn for them.

It's blood pumping through veins, and the sting following a cut.

Red is love.

Whispered conversations that block out the world.

Midnight kisses under the porchlight.

The color of their lips when they give you a smile.

Red is anger.

The feeling when someone betrays you.

Fists colliding with skin in the middle of a fight.

Hateful words during an argument.

Red will burn you from the inside out, no matter what kind it is.

Be it a simple warm flame, or the blaze of a forest fire.

It is so much more, but where do you find the words to describe it?

To describe the emotion in your chest when they hold your hand?

To describe the roar in your chest when you scream?

What you feel when you look at that one person?

Your soulmate?

Your enemy?

How do you tell the difference?

Red.

An interesting color, isn't it?

Of course, there are objects which are red.

Cherries, and roses.

Ladybugs, and mushrooms.

The planet Mars, actually.

Then there's rubies.

And, not to be forgotten, fire.

But everyone knows emotions explain so much more.

And red, well.

Red makes you feel so much more than one would expect.
