Reclaimed
-*-
Well, you are correct,
I lusty called for you,
when I was at the bottom
and couldn't handle the truth.
-*-
But, you took your time,
to walk up towards me;
and while I was waiting
I weighed down on my knees.
-*-
I'm far better by now after talking to her,
I was crying the pain impuissant to defer.
She extended her hand and replevied my soul
when my brain was morose and my zest paid the toll.
-*-
Well, you are correct,
I lusty called for you,
when I was yelling out loud,
trampling glass with no shoes.
-*-
But, you took your time,
to crop up towards me;
all that waiting is over,
I'm no longer in need.
-*-
I'm far better by now after talking to her,
I was crying the pain impuissant to defer.
She extended her hand and replevied my soul
when my brain was morose and my greed paid the toll.
-*-
Well, you are correct,
I lusty called for you;
but now I'm reclaimed,
that's the apodictic truth.

Sometime we just want someone to listen and feel us. Be there for us. Excellent poem. Love the raw emotion here.
