It wasn't always this easy, just coasting life, easy peasy
Had to navigate my way through, having emerged out the blue
Starting with nothing, carrying a lot of emotional baggage
Upset that you don't meet the mark, always wanting to hit it from the ballpark
Wondering what you were meant for
Are you to die for
Who do I scream to when my minds racing crazy , no
They have to be physical, my mind way too focused on our spiritual
Not gonna commit a crime so they can cage me
Looking into the sky, erase me
I'm fading fast, I feel my heart sinking
Everybody walked right past me not even blinking
Are they here in this world, gots me thinking
That beat failing, winking so sure,
My whole life's become a blur
This one thing I know for sure
All that's left is his good grace
He sent ME to this wretched place
I have that gift left to give, it was placed in me for us to live
This life is not mine though, say what you want, so
I yearn for the good souls who strive here, they hustle and grind near
They beat a intoxicating beat relentlessly
I am she, relentlessly
That is a personally admired word I learned in college alone
Don't worry that wasn't my first sad song
You know how it feel, just keeping it real
It was like the unattainable feel, of wanting to be somebody's real
The wanting of someone to see me, know my curiosity
Hang with me, bang wit me, roll out to the beat
yeah you know, be my friend, blow a joint in the win
Then you can smile and say, way back when
Something people miss today
That connection of heart in some special way
Meet me at the ballpark with the family and play
Kick that assprin from some kickball play!
We all laughed when we kicked the air from the ball
That day we all stood tall
We looked at each other satisfied
Together once again
That ball game made love magnify and win
Victory in love never goes wrong
You just have to remember to stay strong
Driving down the road I see more clean people on our streets
Who really said we need open boarders when the people on the streets just get deleted by reporter’s
Was it karma, or just swift judgement came around the corner
Maybe you shouldn’t have done the former
I mean my clean people getting hit hard too
Speaking in between the lines, what happened to my boo
Yes its true, me and him are two
Reminds me of why I have to walk straight lines
Never catch me being led by the blind
Keeping it solid, ain't no rewinds
Comfort is sought out in any love of color
Our arms are open, its your token
He is listening
Are you speaking
Never indulge too much
Who said you wasn’t enough
Attain enough knowledge and watch them begin to burn
But that was an excerpt, just obtain enough to learn
In every aspect you will have your turn
Even the wisest can learn
You don't have to wait a turn
Exchange a conversation let yourself learn
Never be lectured, and use ones instinct to challenge the status quo
Never let anyone pull you below
They can’t stop your show
I just thought I’d let you know
When something happens good, you can tell it is real
The spirit is just testing the drill
Enjoy life and the rest is all real
Take notes while boarding all boats
Remember when you dock
Never believe what you see let alone what you hear, unless it's important to deaf ear.
