Ready for a Transformation?
One Year Can Change Everything
It really doesn't take long to make yourself stronger; a year is enough. The reason self-improvement can feel painful is that it often goes against our natural inclinations. But if you're determined to do things that challenge your comfort zone, there's no doubt you can achieve more.
The best time to plant a tree was ten years ago. The second-best time is now. Using a year to make yourself stronger isn't the hard part. What's difficult is finding the determination to change!
I've always believed that simply hearing advice from others is useless. You truly have to be hit hard by life. It's only when you're hurting that you'll make up your mind to change! So, I hope your "Black Swan" moment appears soon, because it's what will make you grow!
Don't ever think that becoming better and stronger is so difficult that you shouldn't even start. Why do I say one year is enough? Because I've tried it myself! I've transformed from a middle-aged woman who was anxious, depleted, and numb to life into a confident, charming, and cheerful girl! Yes, I like to describe myself as a girl now!
To improve ourselves, here's where we should start:
Move your body. Do yoga or go for a run to shed excess fat and reshape your physique. Think about why you were happy as a little girl. Why are you unhappy now? Often, it's connected to carrying extra weight. I often joke about the fat on my waist, wishing I could just scrape it off with a knife. I guess I can't even lift it! Girl, let's regain our confidence first. This is the crucial first step.
Find something you love that can also make you money. If your hobby doesn't provide an income, you won't have the means to live, and you'll still be unhappy.
Stop being a pushover. Be bold and say no to things you don't want to do. Don't waste your time on people you don't want to see.
Prioritize solitude and self-reflection. Learn to review your life and improve repeatedly through this process.
Connect with high-energy people and pursuits. Be willing to invest your time and money to learn new things. If you're not willing to part with money, at least be willing to part with time. If you can't give up anything, you might as well go home and sleep. Don't waste your time just being comfortable.
The goal is set; all that remains is execution. If you can dedicate a year to one thing, and if you continue to dig deep, you will definitely achieve results. Many people fail not because they lack ability, but because they can't persist. Persistence can be painful.
If you want to break out of the cocoon and become a butterfly, you must give it your all.
I'm waiting for the moment of rebirth for every girl who wants to change herself. May you, I, and all of us meet a better and more beautiful version of ourselves!
