Reach for the stars, the old man said
If you're lucky, you'll get to the moon
If all else fails, at least you tried
As your life will pass by soon
So make sure that when your time comes
And you lay upon your bed
You can say with gusto, you did your best
And death you shall not dread
You can rest assured you lived your life
It was the opposite of empty
So when it's memories that you have left
You'll have them by the plenty
For you'll know that when you could
You reached out and grabbed the stars
And did not waste your finite time
For we will surely not waste ours
