Desire To Fade Away

Noir Art

Wildflowers and clovers

Grew

Where she shed her skin

Donning her feathers

Flew

As her freedom began

Soaring the clouds

Above

She just disappeared

Whispering sweet nothings

Of

A love swallowed by fear

Birds flock together

While

The moon finds its song

Whippoorwills seem to

Smile

As her heart sings along

Now one with nature

Lost

She vanished like a breeze

Becoming

As wild as the wind through the trees
