Raised Voices
A Poem About Rising Voices, Education, and Becoming the Change

I come from quiet places where dreams gather like dust on forgotten windows,
yet even in silence, a heartbeat learns to speak.
I have seen young minds hold hope like a fragile candle,
and I have learned that one brave spark can change the whole night.
.
I teach girls to lift their books as if lifting the sky,
reminding them that knowledge is not a luxuryโit is a door.
Every lesson becomes a ripple,
moving through villages, cities, and hearts that once felt small.
.
I walk with a promise in my voice:
no voice is too soft to matter,
no future too distant to reach.
.
We are not waiting for change.
We are becoming the change.

A beautiful and powerful reminder that that piece of ancient wisdom, that we are the change, must never be forgotten and always be passed down to younger generations. Your wisdom and spirituality really shines through your craft.
