The mind is full of colours, a mix of memories that form the rainbow of your life
Some light and some dark, some ignite you like a spark, and others that simply tear you apart
The love affair that you once had and the clandestine kiss in the back of the cab
The yellowy smell of someone you know, the peachy sound of a familiar hello
That deep magenta of falling in love, lying next to them watching stars above
The shadowy ash of a heart destroyed, the darkest black of the deepest void
But life goes on, colours fade back in, the peacock greens bring you peace within
You dip your brush back in the ink, and paint your life again in pink
