Our aura is invisible to all,
but does that mean its not there at all?
Some days it’s true, I feel real blue,
but isn’t that just like you and you?
We value colour in our lives.
We're told that healing colour therapy can swipe away
the red of rage,
the green of envy,
the grey of fear.
But how does a colour-blind person heal?
How do they feel?
If the green on the trees is not so real?
Or the blue of the sea, with white frothy waves, Splash and recede in a colour of greys.
It’s true, this I know, how the fire heats you through with its red rosy glow.
I live in a world of colour you see
Which I am guessing is very fortunate for me.
My life and my work have taken me far.
I’ve mixed with bodies of all different hues and one thing I find,
Not just in my mind,
everyone has a touch of colour - that bind us to one another.
Pink flesh through to dark chocolate brown makes no difference in any town.
Inside each body beats a heart of bright red,
and all our white bones help us stand straight and tall - no matter your skin colour at all.
Our minds, as we grow, holds a cacophony of colour - take those colours about, with you, every day.
Remember these rainbows and magic of nature
Cherish the colourful friends that you've found.
Be them pink or brown, or yellow and Black, remember their hearts and never look back.
