My window pane
is freckled
with shimmering diamonds
that whisper of
silver linings
and
color amongst the gray.
They remind me that
falling
can be
beautiful.
a single moment
doing something
good,
kind,
nourishing,
is
worth it.
and staying in
embracing the gloom
is sometimes
what the soul
needs.
