The Bacon Cat Legging Society
My window pane
is freckled
with shimmering diamonds
that whisper of
silver linings
and
color amongst the gray.
They remind me that
falling
can be
beautiful.
a single moment
doing something
good,
kind,
nourishing,
is
worth it.
and staying in
embracing the gloom
is sometimes
what the soul
needs.
